Perrys, any good?

Anyone had any dealings with this company? I'd never come across them til we moved to Pompey. Any good/bad experiences?(more specifically perrys peugeot portsmouth but could be the whole comapny)

I've bought twice from them, once new and once second hand, the new car was a Pug and it was a dog, they did repairs without question though and eventually bought the car back off me at an acceptable price, the second was my Vectra, again a good deal was had and the staff were all good, even coughed up 5mths later when my aircon wasn't working, and that was they paid the VX dealer for the work, call the guy I will PM you details of and I'm sure he will do you a deal.

Agreed caterman, i've already been in touch with marty, but we have two cars to get rid of and I'm not sure I can be bothered to go through selling them both privately. Plus having read a load of threads on here about the lack of reliability of some cdti motors I really think I could do with a reasonably local dealer who will take responsibility for the motor he sells, or am I being too idealistic?

Yeah, thats no problem, you will have to give a deposit I believe, or at least I did mine came from Manchester iirc, I notice the car is out of VX warranty, if I was you I'd look for something a bit newer where you have the VX backup as well, but having said that Perrys aren't a cowboy outfit and have a national name to protect so I would assume you will get their aftercare package anyway.

They have a nice Digital Green 56 Design for just over 10k, better spec and a facelift, plus you might be able to wiggle a monkey off the screen as well.

perrys are network q so he should be ok warranty wise.
