    Default Which One?

As you may have seen, im selling my 02 SRi petrol 2.2 - shame but need a diesel as Im doing more small trips.

    Which diesel should I get?

Thinking of the 1.9 CDTi 150bhp is this a good one?

Would there be much of a performance difference between the 1.9 cdti 150hp and the 2.2 petrol 150 as I understand the diesels have 6 speed?

What mpg could I expect roughly?

Last one, how do I know its a 150hp one when I come to buy it?

    thanks folks

    l.

i would only advise that if you buy a 4 cylinder CDTi, make sure it's got a very good warranty...they aren't all 100% reliable..

the diesel is better for torque than the petrol, but they are both evenly matched in terms of how they actually drive in the real world..late 2.2 directs will have a 6 speed box...

the CDTi will give around 45mpg, the 2.2 direct will give around mid 30's...

the 150 has it's oil filler cap on the right of the engine...the 120 has it front left.

I dont really want to pay more than 6k if I can help it, just sick of getting 26mpg average on the petrol one. Motorways are amazing on mpg but dont use them much. Also fed up of the £120 car tax for 6mths!

Thought about the 2.2dti but are they only available in 120bhp versions?

Also havent heard nice things about them.
