    Default Urgent advice please

My apologies at repeating myself from other threads, and for the long windedness of this post.
    I have a "56"1.9cdti SRI estate
At 23k Flywheel and clutch replaced (due to rattle on cold start)
At 39ishK Flywheel and clutch replaced (due to intermmitent screech when letting clutch pedal up)
At 55k complained to dealer about rattle when starting from cold, booked in for investigation along with 60k service and cambelt and repairs to drivers seat, left at dealers on Monday eve, and attended Tues a.m for cold start.
I believed, and still do that rattle is from flywheel.
However, after consulting VX the dealer was given authorisation to remove g/box and inspect clutch and flyheel, upon inspection of these 2 items no fault was found, so VX authorised a new g/box.
This was fitted and I was phoned last eve (Fri) at about 5pm to say car was ready for collection.
I didnt arrive to collect the car until just before 6pm (due to the collect/deliver drivers being v.busy), it appeared that all the workshop/service ppl had gone home bar the one who I paid.
I went out to the car got in and started it............and thought I heard .............................yup that ole cold start rattle............couldn't be sure, but after the car had sat on the drive for more than an hour SWMBO got in and said as I started it "That noise is still there"
And it is, sao my first port of call will be the dealer, and then if necessary, VX Customer services.
Any other advice would be much appreciated guys .

Just because you have one car with problems, does not mean to say they are all the same.

You will find that some Fords are just as bad. You will get bad models of every make.

My £24K Audi A3 was the biggest pile of **** I ever bought.

To be fair I have had 5 cars in 7 yrs on the cabs
    Old Vectra "R" 2.0DI
    Rover 75 sal 2.0cdt
    Citroen Picasso HDI
VW Passat est tdi pd 130

And this has been the best (also the newest and most expensive so maybe not a good comparison).

I dont know what they did while it was in the dealers but the car has been transformed, it now feels like it has 150bhp and the handbrake is OFF.

Spoke to the head tech again this a.m while I was buying brake pads/discs, he is going to speak to VX and to register the still unresolved fault (as I have less than 4k left on the warranty), and will get back to me as to what the next step is, he also mentioned that another VEC had been in with exactly the same complaint, it also has had 2 previous flywheels and is used as a cab...this one had a bit more mileage up 88k.
