Default Never fear for i am here.

    Hi to all.

Hope you all had a good Xmas

I won't take up much time as i can go on, & on, & I've already written this twice already, & it keeps losing every thing i written, any way I've sorted now.

After a very long time settled on a used Signum.
Metro Blue, late '56' Elite 1.9D
Options that were advertised as being fitted were:
    AFL/Washers.
    Wheels/Suspension.

    What it DID have was:
    Wheels/Suspension
F/R senors Not Vauxhall (instead some cheap ****ty aftermarket ones fitted by the dealer)

So i drive up on the 22nd (early Xmas present to myself , & partner) 273 miles too Rotherham, from Kent (nearly Dover).

To find the car washed, not polished, hovered in side, with dirty marks every where, & they couldn't even be bothered to lift the car mats up to hover the rubble out from underneath them, they left it in the red on the fuel.
They wouldn't let any of the dealers near to me Network Q it, not even one of there own dealer down my way.
I will be kicking down vauxhall's door over the Network Q thing, & the miss-description thing, how hard it it to get that right, (it's their bread, & butter at the end of the day).

On the way home we had a good drive tho i was totally shot having already driven all the way up there. I played with all the toys, found some of them confusing, manuals same a vauxhall's have always been (POOR), but being a man I'll work it out.

It all sounds doom,& gloom, it's not, i hate to being mucked around with. We found the car to be very very good.

I've modded quite a few cars over the years, I've changed from balls out wheels and body kits, to more subtle things these days, am looking forward to tuning a oil burning family car.

Any way I'm all ready to start modding, first up:

    Mud flaps
    AFL/Washer
    Traction Control
    F/R sensors (Proper ones)
    Rear spoiler
    Wiper arms/Blades
    Boot liner
    F/R Car Mats

I think I've said enough for now.

    Cheers

glad to hear that you are basically happy with the car mate but the fact you are unhappy with the dealer is frankly a common complaint so get the dealers name down on the poor vauxhall dealers list thread, hope the car is better than your first experience of it

I got the car from Perry's of Rotherham, i rung Perry's of Canterbury (Kent) they phoned up the Rotherham branch, & was told that it was sold.

I rung Pomphreys in Sittingbourne (Kent), they couldn't get it.
I have been dealing with this dealer (Just above) for some time.

The dealer told me that some places don't want to Network it because they loose out on commission, & their sales targets, as Networking the car doesn't count.

Now i would have thought that if i went to a dealer near to me, and i was after a car for some where else in the country that was X amount, and had a part exchange, then the dealer that i was approaching would have the worse part of the deal as they have got to do all the leg work, and take a part exchange, whilst the dealer who is selling the car would just get the asking price.

Or................ it could be they thought "we've got one here", some southern shandy drink fairy

It ****** crazy, tho I'm glad to see in a strange way that its not only Fords that **** things up.

Oh, & thank you for welcoming me.

    Cheers

and i bet they never offered to fill the car up free of charge either ......you would of that thats the least they could do.....well i,m guessing if you have a fault (fingers crossed you dont) that the local garage at sittingbourne will sort it?
