just seen TV advert for the Corsa

Rear numberplate slides out to give a rear mounted cycle carrier

Want one on me Vectra LOL

Yep, I remember seeing that in the brochure a bit back - not a cheap option at £500 though!!!

Nifty feature though, just foopin' expensive!

Isn't it part of an option pack now as well?

I've seen an advert for a dealer up north thats supplying the mountain bikes with the car!

I saw it on a car in a shopping centre in Cumbria... very nifty contraption. Might be possible to retro fit it, but it would require a lot of structural work and removal of the wheel well. Also you'd have to cut the bumper!

I really like the new corsa's, would love to be able to get the wife a ctdi 1.3 just for the zero road tax & the looks. (obviously it would be caterman'd)

Tis a nice car , the ergonomics around the light switch are awfull though , and the reflection you get off the dash in the windscreen is bad . the only problem with the cycle carrier is it gets covered in road crud so when you go to use it you get filthy

RE the reflection from the silver centre dash VX dealers are now offering replacements FOC. Also the bike carrier cannot be fitted if it has a centre-fitted exhaust. All in all, a significant improvement on previous Corsas.
