Bulbs!!!

Either all my bulbs were fitted at the same time or i have some kind of leccy fault.

in the last week, i have indications of

right and left low beam
left brake light
left rear light

anyone else had similar problems and if anyone knows the halfords ID codes for the bulbs listed please let me know.

i had that with my vec - nothing like you though, only saw my two sidelight bulbs go within about a month of eachother, and then the headlight bulbs went shortly after that.

if you can wait then order the bulbs online, much cheaper and will arrive on your door tomorrow with most palces.

gotta drive the car at 1am to work, so have to get them today.

nope sorry mate, but most halfords have got a book that you can look up the car and it gives the required info.

are the low beam ones easy to change?

easier than the full beams if i remember correctly. jsut be sure to remove the washer bottle neck on the passenger side, it just twists out, that way you'll have more room to maneuvre.

I think you will find the headlight bulbs are something like 8.99 each. They are a bit fiddly to change bit it is fairly easy. You won't have any problems. Wilkinsons are cheaper for bulbs, but you need to know what your after. I've had a wilko bulb in my head lights for ages now and it seems to be lasting well!

can you recommend an online site where i can get the bulb codes, you know, like the halfords booklet.

Sorry mate no idea. Could you pop up to halfords and get the type you need? I.e. H4,H7 etc. Or call the online places and ask what you need, then place the order?
