Default None moulded Mud guards (a down side to 19s and VXR kit)

I'm finding that me car no longer staty clean since I fitted the 19s and VXR sills/Skirts. Basically the bigger wheels are throwing dirt all over the side of the car. The VXR kit means that my original mud guards can't be used.

So what I'm after is either flared Wheel arches (NOT) or some suitable mudflaps I'm sure some peeps have fitted black "floppy" mudflaps but can't find the evidence. I thought Maverick had but I appear to be wrong.

Anyone got any Pics, ideas what to fit etc?

It's a shame a plastics company cannot copy Vauxhalls' mudflaps and re-engineer them to suit XP cars and the VXR. Mine are colour coded and look great, i'm gonna loose the rear ones though when the rear XP skirt goes on.

The (floppy) mud flaps you need are the ones for the mk4 Astra im not sure if they are front or rears but if you ask the dealer for the ones with the small black blocks on them not the built in clamps these will fit all round on your veccy .......As thats what i have got on mine !!!! HTH

    Back in a V6 !!!!!!!!!!!! And lovin it !!!

You need 1993 Astra MK3 mudflaps.

Part Number 91146476, they retail at £15.20 + VAT per pair. All you need to do is get a stanley knife and cut off the plastic lugs and they screw them on.

You will have to line them up yourself but they are soooo much better than the poor excuse for moulded versions.

    Hope this helps.

PS : Brocks, if you PM me your e-mail address I will send you some pics of my old black one with the mudflaps fitted.

    Cheers
