Default Replacement Keys and Advice on dash repair

Just 2 quick ones for you ...

    1) How much does a replacement key cost for a veccy c?

    2) My dash has a small area where the film coating has started to peel away, whats the best way to repair this or do i need to replace the whole panel ? It's on the bottom bit of the casing under the steering wheel. (will take some photos tomorrow to show)

    Cheers muchly!

Key should cost £37.50 + VAT plus whatever your dealer wants for programming. Shouldn't really pay any more than £15 + VAT - so makes a total price of around £62.

Don't let the dealer try and rip you off with silly prices. The key price above is the Vx list price, so if they quote silly amounts then tell them to shove it.

All new keys supplied will be the flip key, you'll keep your old key intact - they won't take the blade off your old key, it'll be cut from scratch on the flip key blank. The £37.50 + VAT includes all the cutting etc.

hmm any indication of cost for the work envolved? Also what would happen if I just pealed it all off on that bottom section to tidy it up?
