    20MB Broadband here we come......

    ...as of 21:30 tonight apparently...

    I'm doing Broadband Speed Checking every 15 minutes at the moment....

    Yup... Virgin Media (We used to be with Telewest Broadband until Virgin got them)

    This is my current test results...



    Apparently... according to the results I'm 70% faster than all global connections to the internet... at the moment.... wonder where 20MB will take the rankings to...

    Shame they'll soon start to have to have to cap it as they've over stretched themselves (according to the rumours and the Virgin Media chap I spoke to the other day...).

    Interested to see how you get on with it as I have a client who's interested in it, especially the upload speed (for VPN's to his remote staff)

    lol.. maybe thats why they are doing 'deal' packages at the moment then...

    Wonder if my speed checker later this evening will show anywhere near 20MB ???

    I believe they are quite speedy, but I've heard their own DNS servers can be slow to respond so it could be initially laggy if you're using them.

    Not long to wait eh?

    but my router says this

    Your router will only tell you what line type (can't remember the correct term) you're connected to, the actual speed you get depends on so many factors.
