Default Occasional graunch from NSF under braking

As above really, only occasionally does it, pads are fine - tons of meat left on them - thought it may be a stone caught, but that isn't the case.

Did it on Thursday going to work, so took it up the estate and tried them, no noise. Got to 50mph and stood on the pedal, pulled up straight with no noise. Rearranged my internal organs and tried again, a good few times as a dealer probably would, no probs.

Seems to be worse, if it happens that is, on gentle braking from lowish speeds. Reckon an ABS sensor might be playing up? ABS works very well btw!

it'd only be ABS if the pedal was vibrating Andrew.. disc surface okay is it.. no signs of blueing or funny surface markings?..

i'd blame the bloke who got the stuff for you.

It's been OK for exactly a year now, so I can't blame him!!

Anyway, it's only occasional, so I'll just keep on 'nursing' it along.
