Price for Pads and Discs at the Stealers???

Can anyone verify the price for front pads and discs on a 3.2 Signum from their local Stealer? I had mine done yesterday on warranty and have just rang Evans Halshaw up to see how good a deal I got( well for nothing you've got to gloat!) and they wanted £460!!!!!!!!!!

i think im right in sayin that they charge one price for all disc an dpad sets which is about £65.

£460!!!!!!!!!!!! To supply and fit - jaysuz!! Well, the discs and pads are over £200 if they supplied/charged them separately (as opposed to using the disc/pad kit) - that still leaves a helluva lot for labour!!

Well, at least you weren't paying for it!!

Ask Mark to do them, he'll get you trade on the parts and whatever he wants for the labour and your fuel for getting down to him and back will halve that at least.

Was wanting to get vented discs eventually but now Vx ave kindly given me these I'll see how long till I bbq em thanks. Will defo see Mark for the next batch though!!!! I have always hated Evans Halshaw and refuse to use them-just had a lot of phone credit left and thought I'd see how much the robbin bsartads would have charged!!! It's only cause I've fitted my induction kit that I had the window open (Yes 39 years old and very sad!!!) so I would have missed the 1st squeek and the warranty runs out 1/6!!! Oh happy days!

You mean what they've fitted aren't vented?!! They flippin' well should be on the 314mm discs

Well they're round and shiny and don't squeek when I go round corners!!! Was expecting to be fobbed off after they cleaned em up! Think it was the case of Stella I bought them after my last service when I had a few Iridium problems!!

I didn't think pads would have been covered by the warranty? I think i'll have to ring arnold clarke and ask them if mine are covered.. I've still got the warnign light on but i'm sure there's more than 3mm left on them!
