Weird light (and wiper) problem

The car reports "open circuit" for a number of lights. Dipped beam left, high beam right, blinker right, one fog light, one parking light and both reversing lights. All of them went out at the same time. I have checked most of the bulbs, (the ones that are fairly easy to get to) and found them to be OK. Also checked the wires between the front lights and the UEC (fuse box). Baked the UEC at 80c over night to get rid of moisture in case that was the issue, but still the same...

Is this most likely a fault within the UEC, or could it also be the light switch? (I haven't tried baking the light switch yet) Anyone had a similar problem? Is there a way to test the light switch?

One other weird thing that I think also happened around the same time is the wipers only running continuously and stopping right where they are when turned off (not parking). Maybe related, maybe not...

My wipers did that - was the motor. No idea on the lights though

Bake the light switch? Just unplug it, clean the pins, and replug it, see if it works.

Interesting collection of errors.
What do all the errors have in common, UEC? Grounds?...
Do you have error messages but the lights work or don't work?
I think you can rule out the switch, the switch does not control the lights directly like in the old days but tells the module to turn on the lights.

UEC & ABS connector .... including the common ground oints on the engine all should be cleaned DTC erased after that than scanned again to see what comes back... most likely all gone... also check resistance on the fuses... on my car they had to much resistance,which the canbus network picked up on... solution was putting in new fuses. Be smart buy a blister pack of mini/ normal and big fuses of Amazon or eBay as they are a lot heaper that way than buying them from the likes of any of the carpart stores.
