it doesn't matter... he needs to check the bulbs, connector and the bulb holders .... regardless of body type, that is how you trouble shoot it if you don't have access to tech2 or op-com..so if he decides not to disclose what model he runs that is up to him. #getyournickersoutofthetwist![]()
It does as estate is different set up and some people miss it. Opcom tech2 won’t show you anything more than the light out warning, so if that’s not saying which light it is then your ******ed. Thing is here, we’re covering old ground again and also guessing on what car it actually is when theres all this with pictures and in car diarys![]()

I got a pre facelift half canbus car and op-com tells me exactly what bulb is out.... so it must be the exact same on the facelift with the full canbus... and even if it doesn't.... the method I described goes for all cars not just the vectra models/signum... regardless of where the bulbs are located... he will still need to check the bulbs, bulbholders and the connectors... or do you want to say that the bulbs in the hatch on the estate or signum estate are not connected to any form of electricity? Now slow your roll and keep your frustrations away from a simple question that has been answered properly... yes not model specific but hey ho he didn't disclose that info not even after you asked for it... so general trouble shooting it is than.
You make life difficult for no reason... hence my comment on that link of the Mokka forum.![]()
I’ve checked all bulbs and none are blackened. All work as they should (girlfriend in drivers seat) including fog and reverse lights.
Tomorrow I’m going to replace all 8 bulbs (4 in each cluster). See if that sorts it![]()
when you do that clean up the bulb holders on both sides... something you should've done when checking the bulbs yesterday, it's not that hard the lot just clips out, and cleanup the pins that the connector clips onto also... that way you eliminate years of dirt/corrosion buildups causing to much resistance (the canbus system picks-up on that)
