[Signum] Parts compatibility - Pre- post-restyle
I need a couple of parts, and I was wondering if pre- and post-restyle were compatible.
In particular I am looking for a sill. I am really unable to find any right one post-restyling. And I was wondering if this was affected on the restyling or not.
I see the original model does not have them painted, but pastic black, so I'm really unsure.
I am referring to this part I maked here, just in case my terminology is off.

So, basically, my question is: will this fit into my 2008 car?: https://rrr.lt/en/used-part/dmn4795-...el-signum-sill

hello go and introduce yourself in the appropriate topic and don't forget to put a picture up of the car...
the question is will a facelift painted side-skirt fit a pre-facelift car? the answer is yes it will without modifications... but you can just use some high build primer and sand yours smooth and than have yours painted to match it will look the same... unless you get the side-skirts from an XP1 or XP2 body kit as they have a slightly different shape to the pre-facelift one.
look it up on the forum if you want to see the difference the pictures are all on here.

Well, I joined looking for information for my father since he was looking to buy a Vectra (and he did). And I did not come back until now.
Now I have my own and I am reading and learning, but so far not writing that much (I don't think I have that much to share yet). I had already made my presentation back in October: https://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showt...ignum-in-Spain
What happens is that someone with a huge sense of humor decided it was a great idea to lit a fire near my car, and now the side is burned and all these plastic pieces are half-melted. I'm looking for replacements (I've got almost everything and the mechanic si begining work on Monday) to try to leave it as close as possible to the previous condition, but this one part and a black headlight seem to be a unicorn here in Spain. So I am trying to see if I have any alrernatives. Either a pre-restyle one, with a prime and paint, or if compatible at all, one from a Vectra.
About the pre-/post-restyle, I'm not sure if they have the same shape. I could of course always get the paid, but if I can avoid it, better.
About the Vectra, I am really unsure, since the wheelbase is longer. And I do not know if the Caravan, which also has long wheelbase, uses the same.
I have already checked pictures, but they are not really that much helpful in my doubts.

The XP (OPC) variants are smoother and have a less pronounced angular shape to them making them flow better with the cars bodywork, and when they are painted it is very clear to see the difference if you are used to seeing the old pre-facelift ones... Afaik the estate (caravan) and the signum have the exact same wheelbase (and floor) so the side-skirts of those should be a direct swap the vectra GTS/ saloon/hatchback ones will not fit as they'll be too short.
But i don't own a Signum or Vectra estate(caravan), so someone that owns one will soon reply to say if i am wrong or not...

You're absolutely right about that: same wheelbase Signum&Veccy Estate(Caravan/SW). Probably same length for side-skirts...

Same side-skirts at least for facelift models, confirmed by online parts catalogue.
