People with your engine and experience seem rare on this forum, I only remember one guy who tuned his and I’ve not seen him post for years. Maybe finding videos like Jon found will help? I’ve never taken any notice of this engine group as I don’t like it anyway, only after reading the thread it made me wonder what on earth is going on with its design.
Remember to try a google search under vectra c your engine type and oil cooler or whatever it is and see what comes up.
Taking the front bumper off and rad pack is a quick job anyway, just a pain to refill both coolant and ac after.

The car was a little rare when I bought it in 2013, only seen about 2 or 3 in Vectra form on the road since then although the Insignia used it too. It's the same engine as used in the Trooper 3000, so a bit basic. The mechanic I go to has been repairing cars for 35 years and never seen another.
Thanks for the advise, good to know it isn't too bad to get access. But going to need to find replacement seals for the aircon pipes, the oil cooler and the housing. Luckily AutoDoc seem to have a good supply of parts for this engine at reasonable prices (unlike the local dealers), just takes time to get them over from Germany. Plus if I ship back parts I don't use within 100 days I can get a full refund - although not the shipping costs though (either way).
I'll have a search to see what I can find - not going to let a water leak write the car off!
Thanks.
