Er no

The issue with the ethanol is not in the supply but once put under high pressure within the pump and pipes from pump are steel.

I read some about it, that's why I posted that link in a previous post and I don't think vauxhall have fixed the issue tbh......after all the car had it replaced in 2010, its only done 59k miles and its ******ed again?

what pressure is it reading on the fuel rail... if it is below 6 bar or 600kpa you might need to replace the sensor or the pressure release valve at the end of the pump might need replacing, but that is a might .. in most of these cases the owners end up replacing the expensive fuelpump... it is one of the reasons why i would never get a 2.2 petrol from GM every model that has that engine has that problem going back to the frontera and even the isuzu montery with these engines have the same problem...
ps low pressure side of the pump should be 3.4bar or 340kpa with the engine running... so if the pressure is way of well erhmmm mate just replace the whole thing with a new one.

Need to check live data.
Desired fuel pressure and Actual fuel pressure. Actual should follow Desired as you rev the engine.

yeah i know about requested vs actual needing to be really close... if they aren't something is deffo gone...
I'm not going to watch the video as to be fair i would've already bought a new pump and replaced the lot... i know it's expensive but i hate the guessing game.. although diagnostics can help i rather replace than take the old one apart to see if it can be salvaged... at least that way i got a running car and just maybe a spare...
