    Default Rear UCA bushe tool??

Has anybody ever found a bush tool that will extract the outer UCA bush?

I know its been spoken about and people have fabricated ones from bits and pieces but ive tried and have had no luck. I have 2 new UCA's but i really dont want to have a go at fitting them if i can buy something that will be quicker

    Thanks

I suggest you ask for quotes at a few places as it is worth to have that done mate... I have a universal extractor tool and from what I have seen under my car that will need some extra stuff being made up to get them out... so I already started getting quotes in as I'm not willing to be under the car for hours on end fighting with the old bushes...

Wouldn’t it be easier to just remove the 2 bolts and swap the lot?

yes it is easier to just replace the lot but if he already has the bushes in that case it will be cheaper than the complete arms with the bushes... and to be fair that is more cost effective than trying to replace the bushes... i thought he was on about the ones on the swing arms in the bottom bit, i will have those done on mine if i find it at a good price as no way in hell am i going to try and get them off myself... Been there before (on other cars) and what usually seems as a few hours a side easily can turn into a day or two nightmare... so i will have it done 2 hours later and i can drive away.

Yes in theory but ive read the horror stories of people trying for hours and hours and just giving up.

bit of an update on this. I changed the whole arm not just the outer bush. Just as well as both ends were shot to bits and the outer bush was seized solid.
