Hello ladies and gentlemen.
So, has any of you ever driven the new Insignia 1.5 turbo automatic? If so, then what did you think of it?
Hello ladies and gentlemen.

No. But I have a Sport Tourer 2.0 D Automatic and I love it. The ride is much more supple than my previous Insignia a Sport Tourer. It's my first automatic and I won't miss manual. It's so easy. I have the steering wheel paddles that are very handy but leaving it in D is so good I rarely use them. Only down side is economy is not as good as I had hoped.
I haven't bought a manual car since 2008. By the way, that's a really nice configuration you got there, Drew. Too bad Opel stopped making the Sports Tourer.
I say Opel, because there is no Vauxhall. Vauxhall is just a badge and behind every griffin there is the lightning bolt from Opel. Any Insignia owner who lost their VX badge knows that.

I don't think they stopped making it, they just stopped selling it here in the uk, I think it's still on sale in other markets. People here seem to want SUVs or crossovers. Its a wonder that a regular saloon car survives! I find it amusing that the suv is becoming a coupe and then they lower them to make them handle better?? The end result is that in a few years they will re invent the saloon and estate but there will be a new name for them. Grand Tourer Sport might do or GTS...for short. The Griffin goes from strength to strength!! Or lion or lightening bolt for that matter. In the meantime I'm happy enough for now.
