Its overboosting and therefore the car is shutting down / cutting boost till it stabilises caused by sticky vanes
Suggestion I saw on a Skoda forum was 2 or 3 bottles of redex then give it a thorough italian tune up to try and get things moving

Gave it a try and seems to have made a slight improvement, though not counting my chickens.
Made a phone call about a Dacia, though the CS guru part of me winces at how many places just get it plain wrong. It beggars belief that as yet I can't go onto the dealer's website, and order the car, if I can order a mobile contract and my utilities, then its annoying to be told to phone and then be told "no one's free to take your call"

and......
looks like its suddenly developed a massive boost leak, stalling at near every junction on the way home and rolling coal everytime the throttle went down, took 4 restarts to get it into the drive.

dacia is plasticky, but its a new car for used car money...
