You couldn't replace the bushings? I replaced mine myself without dropping the frame but it is pita for sure

Turns out that the correct bushes were these:

With the locating lug, that was stopping me getting my spanner on to the rear nut.
Thanks to @Dog_Book for pointing these out.
All done now.

Some in the honeycomb inside.
