Hi all
I'm pretty sure my car has the f40 gearbox and my flywheel is knocking a good'un so need to replace it. Is the flywheel generic between the 2 gearboxes m32 and f40, and is it the same for all powers?
My understanding is the flywheel is the same but the clutch has a different shaft spline configuration.
Hope you can help :/
Thank you

Flywheel & clutch are specific to engine power. Not interchangeable. Can be a minefield getting the correct parts if you do not go to seller that knows their onions.

Phone a Vauxhall dealer, quote your registration number and pretend to be interested in the price of the flywheel, then casually ask them for the part number. Armed with that, you'll find it easier to buy the right part online.
