Philips LED headlights blinking after turn off engine
Hi all, I have an Opel Vectra 1.8 from 2005.
After installing Philips X-treme Ultinon H7 LED bulbs in my headlights they work fine with no error message in the dashboard, but when turning off the engine the lights will blink 4-6 times with a few seconds in between.
I have tried to insert a Philips LED CANbus adaptor, but the problem is still there.
Do you have any idea how I can solve the problem?

Can't be 100% sure, but you might need to have xenon's enabled with tech2/opcom/An Other.
Basically it's the bulb failure check system causing the problem.

If you search (i find google vectra c ***** works best) there are instructions in here many times over. Also if you look you'll find the circuit needed to stop flashing, i have made a good safe version which i detailed in my diary if you take a look?
Oh yeah, don't look in troubleshooting as your modifying so the answers will be in there.

Please forgive me, but I'm new here and I don't quite understand what you mean. Could you provide the link to your diary post, please (I can't see any diary).

Starts here, i altered the resistors later if you keep reading plus there should be reference to the workings behind it all

After reading to the end will the resistor you mention (https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/panel...stors/3091324/) be enough to stop the flashing after the engine is turned off, or do I still need to enable Xenon?
And should the resistor be placed like this? https://www.philips.co.za/c-dam/b2c/...led-canbus.jpg (from https://www.philips.co.za/c-m-au/automotive-led/faq)
