Just try disconnecting the actuator roof from the turbo actuator to the turbo vane, at the vane itself viewed from above. Put the ignition key in and move to position 2 so it actuates the motor backwards and forwards, then key out to turn the power off. Repeat the process. This self learnt the position on mine. Reconnect the actuator rod after double checking that the vanes in the turbo are free by moving them.
This worked on my z30dt.
I've had to use electrical switch cleaner on the number 6 injector as it's more exposed at the front of the car than the others.
Good luck, It'll be worth it once you get it sorted. I do love the V6 diesel.
