before i take a hammer to my car......
can someone please PLEASE tell me if there is a way of disabling the really annoying chime when you have your key in the ignition and you open the door. i know it works on the door sensor in the car lock but i want it taken off permanently. if you cant...wheres the ***ing speaker cos im ripping the ****** out!
when you find it, let me know..thou if you remove it, CANBUS will prob throw a wobbly....

The speaker is in the steering wheel casing
What about the beeping when you drive off without putting your seat belt on? I know it is a really good safety feature, but i dont need a beep to remind to put my belt on
The speaker is inside the CIM, can be seen here, black circlular thingy towards top right of the printed circuit board.
Still wana rip it out ???
