Alpine 9831r with Ipod dock and 30g ipod

Ok going to change to a DVD head unit so here goes my trusty Alpine

9831r head unit - MP3/WMA, CD, colour changing buttons from Green , blue, red orange and every shade in between

Ipod interface unit

30g Ipod



Ipod sits in the glovebox and is controlled by the head unit

Box for Head unit and Ipod

Charger, USB dock, headphones for Ipod

Works great, sounds fantastic

whole lot cost me well over £600.00

never had the wheel control unit as I never used them anyway its still for sale as we speak, there is 3 parts to this set up

1. Alpine head unit with cage (got box but lost instructions) it has the remote out connector and as far as i know it will connect to the vectra wheel controls but never did it
2. Ipod interface box
3. Ipod 40Gb with charger, headphones, box,and docking station

The ipod then sits in the glove box out of sight, you can change tracks, search playlists and so on via the headunit, the ipod is on charge all the time its connected (due to this the battery life on the ipod is not great now as I have always left the ipod connected)

If you wanted to see the unit I am going to be in Rochester next Wednesday/ Thursday so could meet up

is the sound clear using the i-pod????
