Got bored of the rear bumper (hidden exhaust) look, so got an SRi bumper for £60 delivered during the week and fitted it today.

SRi oval exhaust back box with chrome trim on its way from Germany, should be with me and fitted later this week.

Other than that i fitted a new gear stick gaiter with grey stitching as my old one was looking very tired:-

I want to change the LED in the mirror to white but its a matter of getting the casing apart without causing too much damage. Had a go but gave up for now.

Have added some Omega bonnet struts today, standard bonnet stay will be removed tomorrow.

Took the Vectra in to the accident repair centre today for its new front bumper, bumper rail and fog light grill. ( kind lady in our shared works car park reversed out of her space and whacked me pretty hard 6 weeks ago. Has taken all this time for her insurance to authorise the repair, me doing all the running and chasing, getting quotes etc. She never even apologised, told me it was just a scratch!

Anyway i miss my Vectra already, been given a strange looking Renault for a hire car. Thank goodness it will only be for a couple of days, cant wait for Wednesday.

Vinyl centre armrest with heater vents put in, heater ducting pipes acquired and soon to be put in.

Oh and after 6 weeks of insurance wrangle the Vec went in to accident repair bodyshop for a new front bumper, bumper rail and fog light surround. Very shiny and fresh now on the front.
