All Vauxhalls and Opels are a mystery.

Even more confusing at the transition between Half-CAN and full-CAN.
I suspect Opel were using old parts from the parts bin, before fitting the Full-CAN stuff that was just entering production.

Several changes took place, electrically, mechanically, and bodywork wise between Summer 2004 and Summer 2006.
It is a bit of a lottery working out exactly what each car should have.

I can only assume that the controls are working on the LS CAN network.
As for mastering this subject... I find a lot of it very confusing in these cross-over vehicles.

    Default CID problem

Hope i can post my problem here without opwning new topic...
Retrofitted CD70+CID to my preface halfCAN 2004 Vectra and i have few glitches remaining.
When screen illumination is set to auto it's always in night mode, but if i put it to day mode it' a bit too bright for night ride. When i had GID it was in day mode but when i turned the light switch to on position then the screen went into night mode.
Also i programmed scrollers in CIM menu and left scroller works ok (going through menus and radio stations and cd, but right one doesn't do anything. Should i set up something more?
