Morning all hope your all good

I need to service my 1.8 vec c she's a 57 plate Sri

I got the car with 13k on the clock which the garage serviced it before I got it it now has 34k on the clock and I know I have left it and should of got it done sooner , I do have the INSP come on me dash so I'm going to do a major service can you kind people give me eBay or Internet links to what parts I need fuel filters what spark plugs oil ect I'm wanting to go for decent oil and plugs - I'm thinking of getting a K&N filter to replace the oldpanel filter again please advice what kind so I will buy these within the next few days and me and my mate are going to have a go I have been quoted £140 at a mates garage but I'm guessing it will be cheap parts ect so just out ov interest I'm Seeing how much I can get them and do myself I have seen this

Hello Danny,if you want any advice just pm me,i can put you in touch with someone who can help you,servicing the car is dead easy and if you want a hand just ask.I buy mostly VX parts and if you want a contact number again just ask.I would always use dexos 2 oil in my veccy----Dave

I am on holiday for the next few days, so can either give you a hand or you can come down to mine and we will do it together.

Serviced mine and it took about an hour tops, that was including getting tools out, putting them away and drinking a brew"!!

im tied up with work till the 26th so from now till the. I'm going to order the bits and bobs but yeah sounds good mate I wouldn't have a clue lol and tbh I would be rather chuffed if I do it knowing I can do it on me next service

Hi Danny.

No problems, I am free most weekends, will sort something out nearer the time. I bought my service items from my local car spares company in Ryhope. That was including oil and filters etc.
