Default Abs / traction control / no speedo HELPPPPP

Hi all iv got an abs / traction controll fault. Basically last night on my way home from base down country lanes the snow got worse I ended up stranded with no phone signal and no cars coming past I opted to pull the abs fues to cancel the traction controll from stopping me getting out, this ended up getting me out and managed to get me home iv had to do this before so new it would work. I put the fues back in BUT this time the fault lights are still here, iv got no speedo and carnt drive around with that.. Iv disconnected the battery to see if that will cancel them but nothing, I don't have a fault reader so how els can I cancel them off?? I never had this problem last time

As you have disconnected the ABS module, the CIM has reset
You will probably have to have the CIM reprogrammed

    Try this to confirm :
Start engine, indicate left and cancel
    What happens?

With the ignition off pull the plug from the abs unit under the bonnet and put it back in, its a common fault.

Ill give that a go in a min..
Nooo I turned it off removed the key before I touched it.

it was more the fact the snow had settled on ice, it was around 10cm deep

If you let it spin for a few secs it should go into fault mode and turn off. I find tc helpful in the snow. but I have the older abs mode that apply's the brakes and not limit rpm. Is switch able too.
