ive only the 1.9 cdti and people say i drive like miss daisy , but im happy driving the way i do , so i recon so does the v6 driver . but always nice to hear the big v6 growl when planted ,

Driving home at about 2pm today I turned off the main drag & found myself behind a black veccy sporting a 3.2V6 badge. We trundled through a village obeying the 30 limit whilst egging each other on and as the national speed limit signs approached I put my windows down to enjoy his V6 as he booted it... But he didn't!?! I actually found myself backing off at 55 so as not to get too close.

Whats going on?!?.. Have you GSI drivers list your balls?

I think my original post has perhaps been misunderstood as a "I was trying to race and he didnt want to" kind of thing. That's not it at all (firstly racing is for race tracks and secondly he'd leave me for dust), you could tell he was playing with me through the 30 zone and so I assumed he'd open it up on the 60. My excitement at getting to enjoy the big V6 letting go, fell flat when instead he crept from 30 to 50 on an almost perfectly straight road and then just sat there.

I wonder if he was going slow on purpose to entice me into attempting an over take and then embarrassing me? or maybe he was listing his balls?... who knows lol
