Help misfiring issue

Hi ALL i have a vectra which is why i am a member on here. however my partner has an astra and we have an issue with it so i wondered if anyone could offer advice.

its a 2003 1.6 16v SXI 3 door 67k miles

its always run fine, however recently its been very jumpy in low gears and low revs, so if driving around town its been jerky and jummping.


today the yellow light came on dashboard speedo so there is a fault registered in system.

checked oil and thats fine. i have just been out and put new spark plugs in however the same issue is still there.

any ideas whats wrong?

maybe coil pack?

Very common for coil packs to go down

The same hapened to my vectra 1.8 vvt sri and it was the coil pack.

as above i would go with a new coilpack
