I know some of the 8v 1.9 engines had these so it can't be impossible, but how much work would there been in swapping my m 32 for an f40? New driveshafts and box? Or would there be more needed?

More mate the f40s a completely diffeent shape
So all linkages etc?
Why would you want to swap it? Just had my m32 rebuilt with new bearings(common fault) and is so smooth and quiet now.
Only reason is I've got a crack in my sump plug drain casing which is leaking slightly (5 or so drops on to the floor over a couple of days) I've found out I can just replace that part but unsure how hard it'd be"/
Subframe drop job mate
Oh nice"/ you done one before then sebastian?
Ring this guy mate, he rebuilt my m32 box over xmas, does loads of vecs/astras. He'll tell ya what needs to be removed to replace the end casing, he's got a load of cracked ones too(common problem with m32). He's called TOM.
