ncdc 2013 non colour screen navigation

hi, bought ncdc 2013 with non colour screen. on google finding pictures just with colour screens. want to ask does non colour screen is showing maps or just direction arrow? if just arrow would it show maps if I put the colour one. anyone got one as didn't find any on ebay

There's a how 2 on fitting the colour screen and it does appear to show the maps after, not just plug and play tho, some wiring work involved, bidding on one myself at min

I did this on my old vectra, GID screen only shows arrows, CID shows more, including map

arrived ncdc2013 today, it come wit antenna and cable but there is no one part of wires which goes to stereo, anyway tried to put it without gps and check if it works. put both gid and radio. GID switched on, but it shows just starting screen (clock, date, temp) with no board computer. radio buttons not working, just power on/off and it plays radio station selected previously. tried to put my old gid, then the same radio works, but no buttons board computer works but doesn't show any stereo info. read how to where guy put cid and he changed some pins there. do I need to change pins? or it is not showing me anything because gps antenna is not connected, I got the code but it come paired with gid. didn.t find anything about activating on opcom.

Sames happened to me this morning bud... PaulvectraC is looking into it for me but thinks although they should appear to be plug and play with GID you still need to change the wiring... Gutted me, although the GID supplied is nacked so may just send it back...

Yeah just got off phone to Paul mate and he said it needs re-wiring

now thinking where I can get antenna cable from radio to rest cable which comes from aerial

Thought mine was a bargain, think ill prob send it back mine, if screen wasn't damaged I might have kept it but seems a lot more hassle for me just for the OEM look... Not even bothered about the nav!
