    Default Info needed , heated seats , retro fit !

    so
    following on from the poll , half leather to leather
    as i have got half leather , which is staying , i would like to fit heater pads to these seats

    so far i ,ve got , a pair of omega c heated cloth seats for the pads
    and the switches in the dash ,

    how can i tell if my car is pre- wired for heated seats ?

    or

    how do i retro fit the looms , to get heat to the pads

    i,m on the trail of some looms !


    any thoughts ,ta

    Pull the switch blanks out of the dash, if there's a connector behind them, then it's pre-wired

    If there is wiring behind the plug then that means there is wiring behind the plug. It's normally the floor loom that's missing (as with mine)

    And they don't need activated via tech2

    There are a few threads on here mate with regards to the wiring. Worth checking the plug under your seat to see if you have the pins first......if you have an earlier car then the wiring might be in place.

    I've not gotten round to fitting my wiring yet

    Front's don't need activating, only the rears do.

    And having the wiring behind the switches doesn't guarantee the wiring is under the seats.

    I have elite leather seats mate but none of the wiring is there want them sorted too but looks like im out of luck for now lol
