Default Electric Cable in Boot Compartment

Whilst in the boot compartment replacing the right brake light bulb I came across some wires with a black connecting block on.

It was not plugged into anything.

Anybody have any idea what it is for?

    Regards.

Was it in the right hand side compartment? Could be for TPMS.

If it is for TPMS I am guessing this is and additional option as I do not have it on my car.

I don't have TPMS on my car, is this there for the purposes of fitting TPMS?

Sounds like it is the receiver for TPMS. This was only available on European cars and not offered as an extra to UK cars for some reason. It can be retro fitted I head it done to mine.
