Areial Conector

My areial base has corroded away and water is leaking into the boot but I need to disconnect the blue plug under the headliner so I can get a spanner on the nut to release the mount.
How do I release the said plug I had a quick look and could'nt see how to remove it from its mount and didn't want to damage it by trying to force it off but it was getting dark so will have to finish in the morning if someone could tell me how to get it off without damageing it I would be grateful thanks.
I have attached a pic of the plug.

flat head screwdriver under that little clip shown in your picture. ( the tab with the square in it) then the light blue conecter should come straight out

Thanks but how do I get the plug off the roof of the car I borrowed the image from another thread.

never thought about that. i just ripped mine off. believe its just two hooked feet. so should be able to carefully unhook them and pull out

carefuly. might need levering out.
ive heard its a good idea to remove the roof linning first. i didnt bother with mine and it left a nasty crease which annoyed me everytime i looked in the mirror
