Not really, but I suppose that is because I still have the code P1112 messing up the engine performance.

I only cleaned the EGR to see if it would get the emission light to go out but I have since learnt that I need to have
the modified kit of swirl flaps fitted then the ECU re-set in order to get the light out. Vauxhall price is £250.80 inc.VAT
and looks like I will have to get them to fit it as well unless I find someone on here than lives near me to fit it??

Have you had any problems with your 2.2's swirl flaps????

yes, i get the fault code once in a while. I tried to clean the intake manifold with carb spray but...not a very big improvement. i get the code every 150-200 miles. I clear it and that's it. I am not going to spend 300£ for this yet. I tried to glue them in the open position but they seem very hard to reach at this engine...
what's your mpg at this moment?

    average MPG currently reading 34.8

Do you reckon disconnecting the battery for about 10 mins will clear the code and make light go out or does it have to be done on a diagnostic computer???

I thought I had buddy but ive had everything looked at that could effect the mpg and no faults found, but tbh I dont drive like a grandad going to church on sundays and its mainly 3 miles trips....Its great when doing 10 mile + trips tbh. All I have left to try is changing or cleaning MAF sensor and lamda/o2 sensors but vaux said no fault codes showing so prob just drive more eco lol

Have you had a service lately? Might just need a good service.
