Coolant level?

anyone know how much the 1.9 CDTI 120 Z19DT holds??? Looked at the How2 but its for the DTI and says 8 litres...

Just buy the normal 5 litre bottle of GM antifreeze (£15). That'll make up 10 litres of coolant, which is more than you need. It'll give you a bit spare in case you have a leak from a hose clip you didn't tighten up fully, so you can top it up from what you've got left over.

you can buy it ready mixed at halford and its the pink stuff

Premixed coolant is a pretty expensive way to buy water though...

Okay, well I'm hoping the fact that its a Saab doesnt matter much... but I totally emptied the system today, bone dry! As above Google says it should use 7.5 litres, but I've only so far had to put 4.5(ish) in? and its at the cold marking, I've bleed it at the bleed screw, fluid comes out, I've warmed her up and the theromostat is working as the coolant is flowing fine... and the temp gauge stays in the normal spot on the dial...?

I was sure the engine would be the same as the ALL the other cars its fitted to, Fiat, Vauxhall etc...?
