    Not the best, but using a £350-400 setup (Canon 450D + Stock 55mm-250mm + 50mm)

Just wish I had the money to throw at a 550D and a decent tele lens!

Doing a shoot of a 3 Series Coupe soon, hoping for promising results!

ive had some reasonable results out of my 450d with a cheapo tele lens on it, no where near as good as those though, atm im saving for a 60d and half decent tele zoom if only i could afford a white L series, i see one, cant remember which focal length, in one of the cash mart shops the other day for £1500, i very very nearly asked what the finance agreement would be on one but i knew i wouldnt be able to afford it

I have enquired about a media pass for Oulton Park but sadly you need published work and a letter from the editor saying that they are your work.

I have a 450D. You wont notice any improvement on a 550D, (except maybe the kit lens is slightly better, possibly). You'd be better of upgrading the kit lens. I did, for a USM 17-70mm Canon and the difference was noticeable. Can put up a pic or 2/link to flickr if your interested using this new lens.

    L series.... hmmmmm

    Great pics btw

I don't use the 18-55 lens kit any more, bought a 17-85mm Canon (RRP £370) which I use for most things, and a 50mm 1.8f (RRP £100) for DOF. Only really used this 55-250 at BTCC in the 2 years I have had it. I am wanting the 550D for the MP upgrade (12MP to 17MP) so pictures are very sharp. For the amount I use a zoom lens I cannot justify getting a better one!

Could saying you have published work on Vectra-c and a letter fro the ownner confirming this be enough to blag it for you?
