cd70 navi opcom or tech 2

Hi all.
I have a question regarding my cd70 navi.
The original unit in my signum was faulty, it wouldn’t accept a disk in the navi slot, so I bought a new one and had it "divorced". When I received the unit back it had instructions of how to marry it and advised against using opcom saying that it might only half program the unit thus losing some of its functionality.
So..... My question is has anyone married a cd70 to a car before using opcom and were they successful in doing so.
Also if it is only programmable with tech 2, is there anyone in Norfolk who could program it for me not charging the main Steelers prices!!

First, you should change your sensitive word to "a diagnostic tool with tech2 capability" or something LOL.

Then you need to make sure you have divorce the original CD70.

Then replace with "new" one, pair them together.

And members wonder why threads asking about programming with opcom get closed !

I have first hand experience of what opcom can do, and it cost me a trip to stealers to get car running correctly again and a lot of money.
