I was off work yesterday looking after my 3 year old daughter who has chicken pox. We're sat watching Peppa Pig when a random bloke walks into our back garden and comes up to our French doors that lead from our living room to our back garden. I point to him to go round to the front of the house. The conversation goes like this:
Me: "Hello mate, are you lost, you've just walked straight through my back garden"
DD: "I know, I've got a delivery to make"
Me: "Is there a reason you didn't come to the front door?"
DD: "This way is shorter"
Me: "In future you need to come to the front door, not wander through my back garden"
DD: "But it's shorter"
Me: (getting pretty fed up of the moron by now) " I don't care if it's shorter, the front door is for the general public, we don't mind family and friends using the back door, but you are neither of those, so it's the front door for you"
DD: "Do you want me to deliver the f*&%ing parcel?"
Me: "I couldn't care less, just do what you're going to do quickly as I'd rather be watching Peppa Pig than wasting my time with you"
At this point he basically threw the parcel at me and shoved the electronic signature under my nose. I signed it, and shut the front door. I went back to the living room to see this braindead moron had gone back round the back to exit.
I've noted his reg and have the tracking number off the parcel. I have made a complaint.
Am I being harsh on him or would you have complained too?
