Looks good, what benefits wills polished tb give? Cars looks nice btw
Its handy having mates that can do work like that for you , i hope you bought him a few beers for doing that , good job .
Driving vauxhall,s for 30 + years
and still loving it
its likely to increase airflow or rather make it smoother.. will be interesting to hear if you feel any difference..
Won't it just get coked up again?
Looks smart mate, hope you get some performance benefit from it.
Just got to remove the rest of the engine and get him to polish that too!!
Not if you take it off and polish once a month
I didn't go quite that mad with mine, but I cleaned my TB today.
Always tends to make idling smoother...
Not sure what that pin-hole does (vacuum to somewhere I assume) but it was seriously oiled up!
feels smoother to me,idle was a bit up n down at first, but now all good, also started using shell v power, bit more expensive but got told its better than normal unleaded
with the internal surfaces being polished they are less likely to coke up but the Z20NET throttle bodies don't seem to coke up anyway as a rule.. I figure you engine/ecu is just adjusting to slightly different charged airflow and will settle down very soon if it hasn't already..
