rear upper control arms

hi to all changed my rear upper control arms today took me 5hrs to change both sides a real pain not hard just awkward to get the inner bolts and very hard to undo them . my advice to anybody that needs to have theirs changed is to book it in at a local garage and let them do it . i will say that now i have changed mine i can feel the difference now.

5 hours that does sound painful

is it more sturder now then?

I hate to be a pain, but it took me under an 40 min to change both sides and the arb bushes on the rear of mine today.

Glad you got them changed anyway

yes handles lot better tight as a drum now. like to see it being done in 40mins for both sides its a right pig of a job never changed any before working off the floor on axle stands and it was very cold today .

Mine were hard took me about 2-3 hours. However I can see them being done in about an hour per side if there are two people helping....

You lot must have been doing something wrong if its taking you that long to do,
its only 2 bolts per side?

'Hardest' Part is lining the bush up for the outside bolt and putting the bolt back in.
