Im sure like most of you guys you have a food budget you try and stick to every month. We have a little one which obviously isnt cheap, and trying to get to grips with the overdraft etc, we agreed to a joint account that covers all the household bills, which i put majority in and draw out £50 a week cash on food shopping and do our best to stick to it. Now because my other half works part time she does the food shopping during the week i have no control what is purchased. I find myself having to chuck more in the joint account so as not to have crediters chasing which obviously effects my overdraft. I cant seem to get her to stick to the budget without it causing a massive row, its such a sensitive subject i just wish she was better with her money and our joint 'cash' so i dont have to worry so much, any input would be appreciated.
