    Year : 2005

    Default £2782

Anyone had a higher quote than £2782 for their vec insurance? Why is it so high? All the quotes i've had are way higher than my renewal qoute of £1000 for the V6 CDTI Siggy. Even the woman who did the follow up call today was surprised how much it was.... but still couldn't beat a grand. Is it because i'm self employed? Is it because i do upto 20,000 miles? Is it because of my line of work? Who knows. I think they just make it up.

It's a farce mate , with all the crash 4 cash scams , along with the whiplash claims , it's only going to get worse ...
Next year you might look back and think £2782 was quite competitive

yeah, I had a quote for over £11,000 by one dreamer. No reason for it.
Best quote was £300 (three hundred)

Mine's nowhere near that, did go up sharply at renewal after the 2009 Omega crash, but £350 to £600 ish, and I was expecting it. Never seems to go back down, though.
Getting some halfway decent quotes this time, but some stupid ones as well
