    Default interior light switches

on my interior light i have 3 switches and the 4th is a blank.

sadly the blank one isnt at the end of the row as i am sure youre aware.

i would guess the 4th missing button is one for the rear interior lights or something which i dont have

is it possible to add this 4th switch to remove the gap when driving at night and 3 of them are lit up.

thinking of taking it down to led it anyway

You can just buy the whole roof light part with all four switches in, very common. Should find one on ebay.

One complete with sunglasses holder here (although a little expensive) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VAUXHALL-O...item231547b2c7

Nope. It's to switch off all the interior lights and stop them from working when opening the doors. I believe the police spec cars have them so they can be discrete in opening their doors late at night when about to pounce on someone.

    oic, cheers lads.

hhmm not sure i would ever want to turn the lights off but could be interesting to have

its more that the 3 lights catch my eye, be a lot better looking if all 4 were there.

£37 for that ebay one, is it worth £37 to make it slightly easier on the eye lol.

mind you it would mean i have a spare for when i mess up the led fitting!

Mine's only got three buttons too- it's damn annoying that you can't turn the front interior lights off when you've got the doors open.

I have rear interior lights, and they have their own switches - on, doors and off. So I can turn the rears off when the doors are open but not the fronts.

If you leave the doors open for 5 mins, they'll turn themselves off
