2.0dti fault code reader?

i'm interested in buying a fault code reader thatb will work on my 2003 veccy c 2.0 dti.

im worried that its a difficult car to read having read past posts and dont really fancy tech 2ing it if i can buy a code reader for the same price!

I use the U480 CAN OBD2 Autoscanner on my signum 2.0Dti works a treat about £20 to £30 on the bay,you cann't turn of airbag lights with it.you need tech 2 for that
