    Default VXRD does Leather

OK, Stage VI is now under way, car is booked in to Classic Car Services next week for a full leather retrim

I've got to go up on Monday to discuss leather type, colour & stitching, but already have a good idea of what I want to achieve.... and its styled from a lamborghini murcielago that I saw at Trax 2006....

    Should look 'interesting'

OK, here are some pics which have caught my imagination....

firstly, I want the outer leather to be 'charcoal' almost black but a hint of grey so that it complements the interior colours.

Secondly, I want the middle section to be light grey, but classy/sporty

Thirdly, I want it to be top stitched in the same colour as above, in light grey

(I'm undecided if I want the top panel of the seat dark grey (the same as the outer edges, or to carry the light grey theme through the whole center section (like a stripe)... as can be seen in the pictures below (Sorry Diana, didnt mean to use your pics ))

Well I am also booked into the Regal Rolling Road day, so you should get to see it there, with all the leather... and hopefully the red AP Racing brakes fitted as well by then

looks very nice steve - and the interior don't look half bad either!!!

if it were my money (and its not, so go with what you like) i would have the light grey in alcantara, looks alot more sporty than leather all round. you get the benefit of it not getting scortching hot in the summer and freezing cold in the weather - especially as you haven't got heated seats

regardless of whether it was in leather or alcantara, i wouldn't have the headrests done

still undecided on whether the full back of the seat looks best or just 2/3.

have an alcantara gear and handbrake gaitor made up aswell, will finish it off perfectly!

    it's gonna look awesome!

No, definately no embroidery... I've got VXRD badges on the back, side skirts and intiorior trim already.. It'll have too much (if what I have already isnt enough).

I'm already 'aware' of the AP Racing brakes as they will be bright red and have VXRacing on them... this logo will be very close to the black side skirt VXRD logo, so I wont know if that will look too much... will have to wait and see

Also, if the leather isnt personalised too much, there may be a chance that I could sell it on to another member when my car comes up for exchange in 2 years time
