clock/display screen size

What is the differance between the clock/display on Vectra's?

some have a full screen and some have a narrower screen with 2 buttons under it.Ive notice the smaller screen on alot of 2005 and 2006 even on the sri models.

Does having the smaller screen with the 2 buttons meen you cant control the function via the steering wheel?

The larger screen has the trip computer which can be controlled from the steering wheel. The more basic models don't have it like the LS and life. The higher spec models do have it. Hope this helps although someone else with more knowledge than me can probably tell you more

You may be getting confused with sxi which has the small screen mate

Hey i have a 07 150bhp exclusive and i only have a 2 line screen with the two little buttons under it. i have the controls on my steering whell but they dont seem to do anything apart from the radio/ cd player.

Some sri's on 05 plate have small display as ive seen few of them for sure not sxi, maybe its because vaux was penny pinching in 05 due to facelifting?? My 05 doesnt have chrome strips on windows, centre rear headrest or rolling compartment under handbrake!

ive also seen ari vents and controls on the back of the arm rest for the rear passengers...are these heater controls for the rear passengers to use?

My misses would love them as sits in the back with our baby daughter and always moaning its too cold lol

Yes mine has got the rear heaters at back of armrest!
