EGR Reprogram

Howdy all, fitted a brand spanking new (not recon) EGR to my 1.9cdti (120) the other day and the car now hesitates even more than before i replaced it. Can anyone advise if there is some reprogramming of the ECU required at Vauxhall as I have tried two new valves, both having the same result. Drives ok ish when EGR is disconnected. At wits end with it now!!

Hi mate apart from the 2 13 mm bolts how do I get the egr off to blank it cheers

Don't think the 120 has swirl valves, I beleive its only the 150

Complaint: Customer complaint about engine jerking between 1500-2500 rpm, mostly with 2nd or 3rd gear engaged.
Cause: Problem is related to a EGR software deviation.

In case of customer complaint reprogram ECU with an improved software.
The new software will be available as of CW30/2008 via TIS2WEB
(version 8.0) (Only vehicles with MY 2006).
Modified software for Vectra/Signum, MT, with and without DPF,
as of MY 2004:

100% correct - the 120 doesn't have them at all.
